MCOM operates an open but selective peering policy designed to improve performance and resilience for our customers and partners.

Policy Highlights

• Type: Open at public IXPs; private peering by mutual agreement.
• Requirements: RPKI ROAs valid, IRR objects present, consistent routing, and abuse/security contacts.
• Protocols: Dual-stack IPv4/IPv6, MD5 on request, max-prefix set reasonably; graceful shutdown honored.
• Traffic: No route leaks, spoofing, or route server hijacks. No denial-of-service testing without prior written agreement.
• Locations: Gibraltar & European IXPs; private interconnects where feasible.
