Delete your MCOM account
Last updated: 17 October 2026 · applies to accounts created in the MCOM app or with Google, Apple or Facebook sign-in
How to ask for deletion
In the MCOM app
Open Settings › Account › Delete my MCOM account, confirm with a fresh sign-in, and the deletion starts straight away.
By e-mail
Write from the e-mail address on your account, or tell us your MCOM number, and we will confirm it is you before deleting.
Email legal@mcom.gi
What we delete
- your MCOM account profile: name, e-mail address and preferences;
- the link to your Google, Apple or Facebook sign-in, and the identifiers we received from them;
- the links between your account and any phone lines, and any invitations you gave or received;
- all sign-in sessions and app tokens of the account (you are signed out everywhere);
- consents you gave to third-party apps through your account.
Deletion is completed within 30 days; we confirm by e-mail when it is done.
What stays, and why
- Your mobile line keeps working. Deleting the account does not cancel a line, a plan or its balance. To close a line, contact
hello@mcom.gi; the customer agreement for that line applies.
- Billing, payment and call records that Gibraltar tax and telecommunications law require us to keep; they are kept separately,
only for the required period, and then deleted.
- Voicemail stays with the line, not the account; you can delete messages and greetings in the app or by calling voicemail.
- A minimal security record that the account existed and was deleted, without personal details, to prevent fraud.
Disconnect MCOM from your Google, Apple or Facebook account
After deletion you can also remove MCOM from your provider’s list of connected apps:
- Google: myaccount.google.com/connections › MCOM › Delete all connections.
- Apple: on iPhone, Settings › your name › Sign in with Apple › MCOM › Stop using; or at account.apple.com.
- Facebook: Settings & privacy › Settings › Apps and websites › MCOM › Remove. Removing MCOM there also sends us a deletion
request for the data we received from Facebook; you can ask us for its status at legal@mcom.gi.
More detail is in our Privacy Policy.
